How we sell
Demos and videos have their place, but they're just the starting point. We sell and set up editorial production lines and automation systems, not software you can fully assess in an afternoon.
The evaluation process is a two-way street: we need to be certain we can deliver on your requirements, and you need to be certain of what you actually need. We stay committed to the discussion until both sides are confident.
Understanding how good we are requires time: workshops, a pre-study (2 weeks) that maps your workflows, technology, and design patterns, and calls with our customers. Send the people who will gain time, efficiency, and focus on what matters: journalism.

Setup and implementation
Implementation typically takes 3-9 months from contract to first go-live. Most activities run in parallel: while you work on requirements and integrations, we set up templates and workflows together.
We train your super-users, who then train your organization according to your specific workflow. This ensures the system fits how you actually work, not how we think you should work.

We've successfully automated 100 newspapers in just over a year. Each 6-7 batch of newspapers only needed one day of training and one day of Q&A, before senior and junior page editors alike were comfortable with automated workflows using Print Automation.
Print editor positions are down approx. 80% (down to only 0.5 positions) since using Print Automation. We are now able to do the editing with the left hand, so to speak. This frees time for journalism and digital editing.
The collaborative features of DrEdition Front Pages enables us to update the front page quicker. It's been working really well for us.
In 2023, while using Print Automation, Bergens Tidende won the European Newspaper of the Year award for regional newspapers. Print Automation has made our design and typography more consistent and thus much improved our overall newspaper design. Print Automation has also freed time and energy needed for creating big award-winning newspaper stories.

We can now provide a far better VG+ product that creates a more active reader and better sales, as well as a production solution with much lower staffing than we had when using tools from other vendors
Already at the first LayoutPreview demo we were hooked. As the CEO of Aftenposten Mobil, I could immediately see that LayoutPreview could increase the value of our Aftenposten Pluss product.
Before introducing LayoutPreview into the workflow, user adoption and user satisfaction to Aftenposten Pluss had stagnated. The new version now has received massive positive feedback, which is out of the ordinary when changing a product drastically.
